I have never known a baby fight sleep like our little monkey. He will go 5 or 6 hours at school and not sleep. I'm still holding out hope that C will come to enjoy sleeping and not fight it. He definitely didn't get this trait from his mom or dad. I did manage to capture some pretty sweet pictures of our sleeping angel. There is nothing sweeter!!
Cameron's favorite toys these days are his books. He carries them and kisses them and looks at the pictures. I love seeing my boys reading. These pictures are priceless.

I love how you flap your arms in the air when you are excited to see us or want us to pick you up.
We've had a really hard month of drop offs at daycare. You start whimpering as soon as we get in your room and flat out wail when we leave but your teacher assures me that you calm down pretty soon after we leave. You are very attached to mommy but love it when daddy comes home too.
You fought a yucky ear infection this month and the antibiotics were tough on your little system but you are finally well.
You have three teeth now, 2 on the bottom and the top right. The top left tooth is very,very close. They are so cute but I'm gonna miss your gummy grin.
You are the most affectionate little baby I've ever known. You love to give us slobbery kisses and hugs. Sometimes you'll even blow raspberries on our faces after you kiss our cheeks. Sometimes you will stop nursing look up at me and pull my face down for a kiss. This makes my heart swell with joy and love. Sweetness!!
You are really good at self-feeding. Your doggy really likes that you are eating more real food because you like to share it with him. You have tried green beans, carrots, Lima beans, potatoes, noodles, pasta, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, apple, banana, yogurt, cereal bars, veggie straws, goldfish, & grits. You haven't eaten a lot of these things but we are trying. You do not like us to feed you, but want to do it yourself. You have stopped taking your bottle at daycare but are still nursing like a champ every 3-4 hours.
You have developed some creative ways to get around. You can scoot on your behind, roll and push on your belly but still aren't really crawling.Your standing is MUCH better than last month. You will at least put weight on your legs and stand for a little while. You just aren't really motivated to do so. You have to be the most flexible child and crack us up with how you get around all while doing the splits.

Your favorite toys are your blocks, basketball goal, talking dog, anything that makes noise and you can bang together, and you especially love your books. You kiss and hold your books. It is so sweet.

You are a chatty little sweetheart. You babble and talk all the time. We can distinguish ma-ma, dada, ba, bye, hey, gr, pa, and oooo.

Sleep has not been great this month with ear infections and teething. Sweet boy if you would just learn that sleeping makes you feel better the world would be happier for all! We try to get your morning nap before going to daycare and you MIGHT take 15-20 minutes of a nap at daycare. As soon as we get home you nurse (since you are on a bottle strike you are starving) and fall asleep.

You got your first REAL haircut this month. It totally changed your looks. You look like such a big boy!
You have learned how to throw a fit if you don't get what you want. i.e. get your diaper changed when you don't want it changed, mommy not pick you up, something taken away from you. You get frustrated when we don't understand what you want. We are working on some baby signs to help as you find your words.

You are the sweetest, most joyful little boy. I CANNOT comprehend that this time last year we were so close to meeting you. Daddy and I can't imagine our life without you in it. You are so very loved!!! We pray daily that the Lord will use you to bring glory to His name!! We love you angel boy!
C got a bug boy haircut today. Mom had given him 2 trims before but we decided it was time to bring in the professionals. His side burns were out of control. He did pretty good in daddy's lap until she pulled out the buzz clippers. He looks like such a big boy.
PS. I had him dressed in a super cute outfit this morning knowing this woukd be a prime photo opportunity but after a diaper explosion at daycare we wound up in the back up diaper bag clothes. He's still cute:)
