A nerd for sure!!

Ok, I am claiming it here. I AM A NERD. But I am so excited about my $1.00 purchase today at Dollar General.

I have started keeping up with coupons and have been looking for this particular type of organizer to keep the coupons organized in a systematic fashion. I hadn't been able to find exactly what I wanted, until today!! Wahoo. I know. Nerd alert.

For those of you who are also coupon clippers some of my favorite sites are:

www.coupons.com

http://freebies4mom.blogspot.com/ ( I know I am not a mom :)

http://www.commonsensewithmoney.com/

Let me know of any other sites you have found for coupons, I have a whole organizer to fill!

Weekend in the 'Burg

Adam, Albe and I headed to Hattiesburg this weekend to see the family and watch Southern Miss beat Virginia in a very exciting game. We were oh so excited that Jeremy and Jackson were in town for the weekend as well (we missed you Amy). Jackson is such a smart little fella! He LOVES his "Uncle" Adam and had fun playing with Albe. He learned how to tell Albe to sit and then would throw the ball for him. It cracked us all up. These are some pictures from the ballgame.

Jackson with his Papa. His BFF. Note his hat. He likes to wear it that way! To cute.

Our attempt at a picture. He wasn't in the mood.

Pure sweetness.Adam wasn't so much ready for this picture, but isn't Jackson precious!!

I also have to say that we are very proud of Adam's sister Lori. She has been drum major at Southern Miss for 3 years now. The Pride does a great job under Lori's leadership. We are proud of you Lo.

Update on Albe

Well we are in shock and awe! Just absolutely amazed. Last I wrote, Albe was giving us fits at night with his sleeping, or lack there of. So we moved him to the office and his old kennel. The first night he did GREAT!!!! Didn't hear a peep. The next night we said, "ready to go to bed." I kid you not the dog, RAN to his bed. Adam and I about died, right there in our house. What in the world! Is this our dog who was having trouble sleeping just 2 nights earlier. The next night I was laying on the bed a little before bedtime, Albe jumps off and I hear him head down the hall. Where did he go you ask? To his bed. No coaxing or anything. He loves it and has gone to it on his own every night whenever he is ready to go to bed. So this is a picture of what is his new favorite bed!Who knew that something smaller and more compact could make the fella so happy!

Well w

Doggy Days and Nights

Greetings friends. I'm writing a little more tired today than usual. You see our sweet little dog Albert (that's what he gets called when he's misbehaving) has decided that he doesn't like to sleep in his crate anymore. The past 2 nights Adam and I have have woken up in the wee hours to a faint whining coming from his kennel. And I mean WEE hours. 12:30 last night. So we take him outside first (or Adam takes him out) but that doesn't quiet him down. Adam says, just ignore him, but I fear something is wrong with him. I was forgetting this was the 2nd night that our precious slumber had been interrupted by the whines of this precious pup. So instead of watching the inside of my eyelids, I watch the clock and sit up every now and then and sternly instruct Albe to be quiet and go to sleep. It didn't work! At 2 am, I finally got up and "checked on him", meaning I opened his kennel. What do you think he wanted? To get in the bed with us of course. We have had Albert for 8 months now and he has slept great in his bed in the kennel EVERY night. So what is happening here. Any suggestions you dog lovers on how to get our pup to sleep through the night? Tonight he will be getting his own bedroom. He is getting moved out of our room. I just hope that doesn't make him whine louder.
So now I am propping my head up getting ready to teach 2 classes this afternoon as our sweet dog is sound asleep on the BED this afternoon! That stinker!
