Sweet kisses
Cameron is such an affectionate little fella. He loves laying on the bed between us and rolling back and forth giving us hugs and kisses. It is the sweetest time with my boys. Here are some pics of C sharing his kisses with daddy! Love him!

Paparazzi
Taking C's picture is a bit more challenging these days. He loves the phone (which is my camera) so when I pull it out he is usually trying to take it from me. He will also quit smiling as soon as he knows his picture is being taken. The child is also in constant motion which as you know makes for blurry pics. I try hard to capture life through our pics so I realize they aren't going to be perfect, our life isn't.
These are all the pics I took in an attempt to get a good 10 month picture.

10 months
I know I say this every month but I cannot believe our sweet boy is 10 months old.
What have you been up to this month C?
- You are 23 lbs of love!
-Your first tooth popped through Dec. 29. It's neighbor is close but not visible yet.
-We spent about 13 days in Hattiesburg with family and friends over the Christmas break. You were a trooper since your schedule was way off. You received lots of loving.
- You had extra special play time with your cousins Jackson and Anderson and your friend Jude.
-You are clapping like a champ. You pretty much do it in command or when you are proud of yourself.
-You like to dance. Anytime music comes on you start rocking back and forth like you are dancing.
-Your best friend is your doggy Albe. You LOVE to play with him. You've learned how to throw his chewy and ball. Albe is very patient with you as you pull on his ears and legs. You are fascinated by his feet.
-You like to share your food with doggy too. As soon as you get it in your hands you lean over the side of your chair and hand it to Albe. This keeps mama busy during mealtime.
-You are finding more independence in your eating. You like to feed yourself so I'm trying to find good first table foods for you to try. You've had steamed carrots, green beans, bananas, yogurt, applesauce, & saltine crackers. You also like to snack on wagon wheels, puffs, veggie sticks and yogurt drops.
-You drink water from your sippy cup like a champ.
-You still enjoy nursing every 3-4 hours. You haven't been taking your bottles as well, probably because you got used to having mommy to feed you for the month we were together at Christmas.
-You had your first really bad cold and mild ear infection this month. It has been tough on you. You've been pitiful, not wanting to play and have looked like you didn't feel good. We started your antibiotics (first antibiotic) and I'm hoping you start feeling better soon.
-You have learned how to wave and you say bye-bye. Sometimes you whisper it but you are getting more brave in saying it.
-You do lots of jabbering especially when you are tired. You call mama, baba, bebe, uh oh, ooo, dada. Sometimes it sounds like you are saying "hey mama" "hey baba". You are starting to use intonation and change your pitch when your talking. So sweet.
- You can get really frustrated when we don't understand what you want or you can't get to what you want. We've been working on some baby sign language hopefully that will help your frustration.
- You still aren't mobile yet. I think this frustrates you too. You just can't get your body to move like you want it to. You did figure out how to slide on your behind on the hardwood floor. I know you'll figure it out eventually and I'll miss my stationary baby.
-Your sleep has been very off this month. Mommy stresses about this because she wants you to get your rest and because she is exhausted. We are claiming things will improve this month.
Cameron, we are in awe of you, our special gift. Thank you for bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives.

Welcome to the 30 Club
Ok, so I am a few days late, but this past Sunday, just 9 days after me, Amy joined the big 30 club. I think it still hasn't fully hit us yet that we are 30, but someone asked me my age yesterday and it felt very weird not to say 20 something. I am so blessed and fortunate to be married to Amy as she is a wonderful wife and an even better mother to Cameron (and Albe). I look forward to celebrating many more milestone birthdays with her.
