Happy Birthday Amy!!

Today is Amy's 29th Birthday. She was younger than me for 9 days but now that time is over. She is such an amazing woman and wife and my life has definitely been blessed with her in it. Amy is also 29 weeks pregnant, and I know that she will be a great mother. Some people are just born to be mothers (mainly females), and Amy is one of them. She loves the Lord and puts Him and her family first in everything she does. She also puts up with all my quirks and obsessions, many of which are related to sports. In addition to being a great wife, Amy is also very gifted in her job as an instructor. I know that she is a great teacher that has touched many lives at Southern Miss, Auburn, and now Mississippi State. I look forward to celebrating her birthday next year with Cameron!!

Looking back on 2010
How often do we stop and reflect on all the Lord has done for us, through us, in us? If you are like me, not enough. The end/beginning of a year is a great time to think back and often be amazed at all that we have been a part of.
2010 was a year of celebration for us and many of our loved ones.
We celebrated Adam's sister Lisa and Patrick's wedding in January.

My brother Ben and Lacey's wedding in July.

Lots of friends welcomed new additions that we were able to love on.
We celebrated Adam's sister Lori's graduation from USM in May and her engagement to James in December.

Adam and I got in our fair share of traveling. a cruise to Belize, Roatan, and Cozumel and trips to Philadelphia, NYC, and Gatlinburg.

We found out this summer that we would be welcoming a new addition in March, and later found out it was a boy!! We have loved dreaming about what our life will be like with Cameron in 2011 and the years to come!

We had a lot of fun with our favorite pup!!

We have much to be thankful for as we begin this new year. While 2010 was full of much celebration it wasn't always an easy year. However, in good time and in bad we saw the hand of the Father.
So as we enter into 2011, we ask that the Lord continue to walk beside us and go before us. May we be good stewards of all that he gives us this year!

4D Ultrasound
As I mentioned in the previous post Adam and I were thrilled to get another glimpse at our our little fella via a 4D ultrasound. It was great. The ultrasound tech spent over an hour with us. At first she was having a hard time getting a good image of his face because he is resting so far down (my bladder and hips can attest to this fact), but after adjusting positions, we had better luck. This was such an amazing experience to see the features of the little tot who is growing inside of me. It is neat to see him move as I feel him move. I am 28 weeks now and Cameron is about 2 lbs 5 oz. He is right on track! Without further ado....here are some pictures of our sweet fella!

Happy Birthday Adam!!
Yesterday my wonderful husband celebrated his 29th birthday.
It was a joyful day in our home, not only were we able to celebrate 29 wonderful years of Adam's life, but we were able to see our little baby boy via a 4D Ultrasound. (More on that later).
First, I want to talk about my wonderful husband. What better way to brag on him than with a list of 29 things that make him special. (sisters, you know he is indeed SPECIAL).
29 Reasons I Love My Husband!
1. He LOVES me!! Truly, wholly, completely I know that I am loved!
2. He LOVES his soon to be son Cameron. I love seeing Adam light up talking about our son. He is going to be an AMAZING father!
3. He LOVES our sweet pup Albe. I see so many great dad characteristics in him through his interaction with Albe.

25 Weeks
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 25 weeks
Size of baby: 9 in. 1.7 lbs (the size of an eggplant)
Maternity Clothes: Still mixing and matching regular clothes with maternity clothes. Regular shirts and sweaters work as long as they are long.
Gender: It’s a BOY!!!!! Cameron Charles Knight
Movement: He is a very active little boy who is also VERY low. His movement has increased a lot this week. Adam was laying his head on my belly to try and hear the heartbeat and Cameron kicked him in the ear. It was great!
Sleep: I am not sleeping well and therefore Adam doesn’t sleep well. Last night I apparently saw something that looked like a stick with moths on it. I saw a squirrel on the fireplace the other night. Remember I am sound asleep when I am seeing these things. Poor Adam!
Symptoms: Achy legs, heart palpitations, fatigue, occasional nausea, back pain.
What I miss: A good night’s sleep.
Cravings: Frozen Yogurt
Best Moment this week: Finishing up the semester.
What I am looking forward to: Heading to Gatlinburg with Adam for a little break!
