Happy Birthday Dad!!!
Today is a very special man in my life's birthday... my dad!!! There is really no adequate way to explain how much I love my wonderful dad just as there are no words to describe how incredibly goofy and funny he is. He is called "funny man" by kids in our family, you never know if he is being serious or joking, but no matter what I know that I am his baby girl! He is the best Papa to our sweet nephew Jackson and we can't wait to see him with our kids one day. Happy Birthday Dad!! I will never forget standing with my dad in the back of the church on our wedding day. What a special time!! We love you and are looking forward to another great year ( try not to freak us out this year with the heart attack)

Pics of the new house
We have been getting many request for pictures of the house. I have a few to share today, but only because these rooms (master bedroom/bath & kitchen) are unpacked. The rest of the house is a work in progress. We are LOVING the new house and already feel like we have lived here forever.

So here is a sneak peak.

The Life of Albe
I know you are probably tired of hearing me talk about Albe, but I'm sorry, he keeps us entertained. Remember when I posted about Albe serious dislike for rain here. Well I have been looking for a little rain jacket for the fella to try and lessen the trauma he experiences everytime it rains (which seems to be a lot here lately). I lucked up at Tuesday Morning with a $5 find. The only problem was it was a little big. Albe loved it and we got a GREAT laugh, but the size made it not quite functional for the wet weather. He looked like a ghost. So cute.

Albe's wardrobe expanded again when I felt like he needed a sweater or shirt to keep him warm. In our new house we are leaving him in the rec room during the day and it gets pretty drafty. So I went to Tuesday Morning (remember shopping it limited here in Starkville) in search of a doggie sweater. The only thing they had was a Harley Davidson T-Shirt. Isn't he to cute!!!!

That's the last addition to his wardrobe. We are looking for a fun halloween costume we were inspired by a fellow blogger to get him a costume. Suggestions are welcome! Have a great day!!

We are home owners!!
Well blogging friends I have been withholding information from you. I guess we wanted to wait until everything was OFFICIAL! But as of about 4 pm this afternoon it is, Adam and I are HOMEOWNERS!!!! We are sooo excited. What a process! I don't have pics to share with you yet, but promise they will come soon along with more details, but couldn't keep this information to ourselves any longer.
Before I go... a bit ironic... our new address is Cardinal Lane. For those who read our blog much you will catch the connection to Adam's love (PASSION/OBSESSION) with the St. Louis Cardinals! It was meant to be!!
Happy Friday!

Its Her Birthday!!!
They say its her birthday..... Happy Happy Birthday!!!!
Happy Birthday to our wonderful sister Lisa.
I know we are a little on the cheesy side, but what can I say.

As Lisa enters her 24th year, Adam and I pray the Lord's richest blessings on her. This is an especially exciting year for Lisa as she will becoming Mrs. Patrick Lowery in just a few short months. We are thrilled. Happy Birthday sister!

An open apology

Since Amy has taken a break from blogging, you're stuck with me for another post. I'm writing this as an apology to Brett Favre, possibly the greatest football player ever. I've been a Brett Favre fan ever since I first saw him play when he was a freshman at Southern Miss and I was a six year old going to the games with my parents. I remember his senior season when he came back from a serious car accident (and had much of his intestines removed) and led the Eagles to a victory over Alabama. I became a big Packers fan after the Falcons traded him there. I remember watching him in the Super Bowl, and wanting desperately to go watch him play in Green Bay. Well, I'm sure you know what happened last summer. Brett retired, then decided he wanted to come back, but the Packers didn't want him back, so he got traded to the Jets. So, I became a Jets fan, and finally got to see him play as a professional when my Dad and I went to Nashville to watch him shred the previously undefeated Titans. The Jets season went downhill after this, and Favre looked like he was at the end of the line. He retired again, said he wasn't going to the Vikings, but ended up reporting about 3 weeks before the season. I'd decided I had enough of Favre's never ending retirement saga, and promised I wouldn't follow him or the Vikings this year. I really didn't think Favre had anything left. Boy, was I wrong. I watched him absolutely destroy the Packers (definitely not a fan of them anymore) on Monday night, and I have to say, I'm back on the bandwagon. I just can't stay away any longer. Favre has always been and will always be my favorite football player. Hopefully he can continue to play well and get back to the Super Bowl. Go Brett and go Vikings!!!
